Roundtable Discussion: Navigating the 2025 Employment Rights Bill: Managing Mental Health, Misconduct, and Whistleblowing Risks

- Are you ready for the new Employment Rights Bill and the new timetable for this which came out on 1 July 2025? The Government published a revised timeframe for implementation of the Employment Rights Bill changes in July. We will chat through the changes planned and timing, exchanging insights on how to get your organisation ready.
- How to deal with mental health disclosures by employees when seeking to manage bad behaviour or poor performance. We will explore the role of stress risk assessments, stress and wellbeing policies, recognising the impact of stress and mental health may have on performance or behaviour, the importance of good OH support and the need to ask the right questions of the Physician/nurse and making reasonable adjustments.
- Identify and making sure you are ready to defend a whistle blowing claim. A discussion around what amounts to a qualifying disclosure and whether the disclosure is protected.
