Pennington Flash Autumn Walk

24th October 2025

Being a senior leader can be overwhelming. The constant decisions, pressures, and responsibilities often leave little space to pause, reflect, or connect with peers who truly understand your challenges. It can feel isolating and noisy with little opportunity to slow down and think clearly.

To create that space, we’re hosting a leadership event to help you step back, gain perspective, and connect with peers.

Before winter sets in, we invite you to step outside and join us for a nature walk at Pennington Flash Nature Reserve, alongside other senior leaders. Set among open water, woodland, and wetland, it’s the perfect backdrop to step away from the day-to-day, cut out the noise, and create the headspace for fresh thinking, new perspectives, and clarity.

Unlike your typical leadership event, the walk is about moving, reflecting, and connecting in a natural setting where ideas flow more freely, conversations spark new insights, and fresh thinking often comes naturally.

Why join?

🌿 Step away to see more clearly
When you step outside of the day-to-day, you give yourself space to think differently. Many leaders find that solutions to challenges, fresh ideas, and new perspectives often arrive in moments like these.

🤝 Connect with like-minded peers
You’ll be walking alongside senior leaders who are experiencing similar challenges and ambitions. Some of our Manufacturers Alliance community and expert team will also be there to listen, share insights, and connect. Often just realising you’re not alone in the journey can be a powerful and reassuring experience.

💡 Recharge & return renewed
By the end of the walk, you’ll head back not just refreshed, but with clearer thinking, renewed focus, and conversations that may spark your next step forward.

🌱 Growth through connection
Being around like-minded peers in a supportive setting helps you think differently and regain perspective, giving you confidence and clarity to accelerate your next move.

🪞 Time to reflect
The walk provides rare, uninterrupted time to pause and reflect on your role, your priorities, and the decisions ahead something that’s difficult to achieve in the office or at a typical meeting.

🌟 Informal, natural environment
Without the pressures of a formal agenda or meeting room, conversations flow freely, ideas emerge naturally, and it’s easier to open up about challenges and ambitions.
